Chapter History and Past Deans

The Suffolk Chapter of the AGO was chartered on February 25, 1946 as the "Suffolk Branch Chapter."  Ernest A. Andrews was the founder of the chapter and held the first meeting in his Setauket home.  On February 11, 1957, a second charter was issued to the "Suffolk Chapter."  Since the second charter, the Suffolk Chapter has been in continuous operation for over fifty years.
